1. ACCA Course Subjects
ACCA is the largest professional accountancy body in the world. It has a global recognition where ACCA members are highly sought after and respected. It is the gold standard to be a chartered certified accountant. Becoming an ACCA means you will be part of a diverse body with more than 219,000 members and more than 500,000 students over 170 countries. With globalisation and rapid growth in cross-border businesses, multinationals’ demand for an international qualification would ensure bright career prospects for ACCA members. ACCA is beyond accountancy alone. The rigorously designed syllabus means ACCA is well suited in the present complex roles where one is required to be multi-skilled.
There are 3 levels in ACCA where a student has to complete a total of 13 subjects or papers to complete the ACCA qualification. Good news – your existing qualifications might fast-track your journey, unlocking up to 9 paper exemptions.
- ACCA Knowledge Level : Papers BT, MA, and FA
- ACCA Skills Level : Papers LW, PM, TX, FR, AA and FM
- ACCA Strategic Professional Level : Papers SBL, SBR, and 2 options from AFM, ATX, AAA and APM.

2. How Much Does It Cost?

Case Example 1:
John is planning to enroll in the ACCA course at Genesis Origo in January to prepare for the June examination for the ACCA Paper FA (Financial Accounting). He aims to complete this paper first and then enroll for the Paper MA (Management Accounting) in July to sit for the December examination.

Sarah is already an existing student (already registered with ACCA UK)

4. ACCA Entry Requirements
Some of the commonly accepted qualifications to start your ACCA studies are:
- ACCA Foundation in Accounting (FIA)
- 3 LCCI Level 3 passes plus 2 LCCI Level 2 passes
- UEC with 5 subjects with a minimum of grade B (including English and Maths)
- 2 STPM passes with 3 SPM credits
- Matriculation Certification (with minimum CGPA 2.5 including Mathematics and English)
- AUSMAT with ATAR of at least 70
- 2 A-Level passes with 3 GCE O Level passes.
What if you do not meet the entry requirements? You can still enter ACCA via the FIA route or consider LCCI qualification.
5. ACCA Course Duration
The shortest time needed to complete all 13 ACCA papers would be 2 years. However, we recommend our students the following study plan:
