Ms Tee Jia En is an ACCA Member and Tax Consultant at a mid-tier professional services firm in Malaysia, with professional experience spanning accounting, financial reporting, audit exposure, and taxation. She currently lectures LCCI and ACCA FIA at Genesis Origo while remaining actively involved in industry practice — enabling her to deliver practical, real-world insights alongside academic knowledge.

She previously spent four years with a listed Malaysian financial services company, where she gained hands-on experience in full set accounts, financial reporting, audit coordination, and tax-related matters. She later broadened her industry exposure with a listed Malaysian property developer before specialising in tax consultancy.

Her combined exposure across financial services, property development, and taxation allows her to provide students with a commercially grounded understanding of accounting principles and professional practice. This combination is rare. Many accounting tutors leave practice to teach full-time, gradually losing touch with how the textbook material actually looks in a live filing or audit cycle. Ms Tee remains in practice. When she walks a student through a journal entry or a tax computation, it isn’t a memory — it’s something she has done for years.
